Im sure your getting sick of all my questions! :) I bought a set of Pit-eck fiberglass race fairings but they fit terrible. Any ideas?
Chuck: Nah, keep the questions coming... I would cut them up so they fit better :) Most of the mount points on the bike can be bent or adjusted. |

My TLR gets very hot at red lights, the fan kicks on about 220, is there a way to install a switch so I can turn the fan on manually ?
Chuck: Yes there is a fan mod -a quick search on tlplanet.com or tlzone.net will find it. It is basically a switch in paralell with the bikes fan switch. |

saw some swing arm extensions on ebay for my 2k tlr have you had ne experence with these mainly r they safe the thanx great site and awsome advise
Chuck: I don't have any experience with extensions. Just make sure you do your homework and do it right. Swingarm flex can cause instability while cornering = not good. |

Chuck: Do a search for "fork swap" on tlplanet.com or tlzone.net and you will find a cross reference guide. |

what's up i'm bleeding the clutch, will that help if i'm having a hard time getting her into neutral? hard to find neutral when stopped at a redlight?
Chuck: It might. It is a good idea to change the clutch hydro fluid every season. I have found that you can change the shift linkage to help. Just moving it slightly forward or back will make a difference. Also make sure you are using the wet clutch engine oil. |

Thanks for the info! And one more question to bug you with. Will the Cans on a TLS fit a TLR?
Chuck: Hi Brian, yes but the mount points are different -you will need to make a simple bracket. |

That headlight conversion is absolutly awsome. It looks like what suzuki could, should have done as a next gen. facelift. Great work, great site.
Chuck: Thanks Ken! |

hey chuck how many l.e.d's did you use in all, what kind of resistors, and where did you place the other l.e.d's that werent in the circuit board, thanks
Chuck: I used 3 LEDs in each gauge. The LEDs have built in resistors so they connect right to the 12v bulb sockets. You can get the strip or flat LEDs which would be much easier to work with and then just add a resistor. Digikey.com sells them. |
