Question on Current Mods: Yosh slips, 1/5 insert, 16/41 520 chain, airbox mod, Carrozzeria wheels,PCIII,K&N filter. Anything else you can think of?

Good stuff here! Thanks! Tip to remove output shaft seal; just screw two self-tappers into seal 180 apart, then pull on them with pliers or whatever.

G'day Chuck cool site what is the better power comm out of the dyno jet PC2 or PC3.will just removing the flappers on the airbox mod make a difference

just bought a 99 TLR my first bike, has many mods some of which aren't done right. one issue is the chain clicks near front sprocket. any thoughts?
Chuck: replace the chain and sprockets before they break!!! |

as my tl was running I removed the oil cap to add oil and air was coming out and I mean strong like the exhaust is this normal? what 2 fix?
Chuck: Hi Craig, easy fix here. Put the oil plug back in :) There should be case pressure there. Are you getting a red light on the dash when the oil plug is in? |

we put direct power to the starter and it started right up. What do you think could be wrong

Hey Chuck, If I remove the flapper valves in the airbox and the pairing system, will the ECU compensate automatically or do I need a remap?
Chuck: Hi Stevo, No the ECU will not compensate for removed flappers. You need to remap to get better performance. You may wish to get a TRE as well. Also look into syncing the TBs and setting the TPS. |
