I know you get a zillion of questions. I keep backfiring through the TB's. Did the TB sync and TPS adj a million times. I cant figure it out. Thanks!
Chuck: This usually means you have an air leak somewhere in the intake system. Check to make sure all your vacuum hoses are connected and routed properly. Make sure your Throttle Bodies are seated correctly. |

can you tell me the theory and operation of the starter torque limiter. my tlr cranks slowly.almost eveything has been replaced but that
Chuck: Change out the battery. They sometime show up as good or fully charged but often have dead cells. You could also try the electrical fix I have on this site. But I'm pretty sure its not your starte torque limiter. |

hi chuck ive just bought a 1999 tlr 1000 and it wont seem to rev above 9500 after its spluters have you any idea what this could be thbks paul
Chuck: Hi Paul, yes this could be that the secondary injectors or all of the injectors need cleaning. It could also be your fuel filter or your fuel mapping. It could also be that your tach is wrong and you are hitting the rev limiter |

i have a 2000 tlr and it has a gas leak from the tank on the left side and i have done everything i know how pleas help i even bought a new tank
Chuck: Been there man. There are spot welds that hold the mounting flange for the fuel pump. Theswe fatigue over time and create a pinhole in the tank. Change the fuel filter and have a pipfitter weld of braze the pump in. |
