I just did an airbox mod and now I am not sure how to reprogram for the fuel as suggested in your directions +5 +10 +5, can you help me with this?
Chuck: You need a "Yosh Box" to do this. I have one and can remap (program) your ECU for you. Do a search for "FREE ECU" on tlplanet.com or tlzone.net and you will find my instructions to get your ECU mapped for free. |

Hi Chuck. I sync my TB & TPS and checked for Vac leaks. Its still cutting of at around 226 & running ruff after. There any thing else u can think of?
Chuck: If it is an R check the secondary injectors. Make sure your electrical connections are good for the coils. Also try changing your plugs. |

I did the fuel filter mod a month or so ago, but today is the 1st time I've ridden the bike. Now my fuel light is always on even though I can see fuel sloshing around close to the top. It also just died while coming to a light, so I'm afraid something is wrong :( I remember that plastic thingy that goes over the whole fuelpump assembly...could putting that on wrong have caused my issue? It either sat one way or another, then how high or low its supposed to sit over it all. It's back on to where I was able to redo the ziptie, so ho far its slid on I would assume is ok. I'm hoping that once I leave WalMart here that I'm not going to get stranded!
Chuck: Sounds like the rubber boot may be on wrong. I think I have heard that some folks leave it off when they replace the fuel filter. I put mine back and putit on as far as I could which is only about 80-90% of how it was stock. There is a sensor inside thepump that tells the bike when fuel is low. I think I would recheck the connection to the fuel pump first -clean them up. Also replace your fuel pump relay. |

Hello, It is runs good until it warms up then it cuts off but it strats right back up. It runs good as long as I'm riding but at stop it my shut off.
Chuck:I would look for a vacuum leak first. Sync your TBs and set your TPS. If that doesn't work do the normal maintenance including the TRE. Maybe you are running a cold or neutral map all the time? (bad TRE?) Go from there, good luck! |

LOOKING FOR MOUNTING LOCATIONS FOR SHOGUN SLIDERS on TLR. found once on TLZONE but cant find it again
Chuck: Hey Eric, I have never put in sliders -only stunt cages. TLzone, TLplanet, ebay search would be good. |
